Girls Soccer Assistant Coach II

 

 

 

 

The Assistant Coach II must assume a major role in supporting the vision and direction of the program’s Head Coach in fostering cooperation and positive teamwork, exhibiting outstanding sportsmanship and fan involvement at games and special events, and most importantly, assume a major role in assisting the development of our youth as future leaders. This job requires you to interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student-athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents, and the community. Positive communication strategies, organizational skills, and safety awareness are key requirements.

 

The Assistant Coach II reports to the program’s Head Coach and then the Director of Athletics. This position requires the coach to complete an employment application, background check, and all district, MIAA, and NFHS-required training on an annual basis.

 

Responsibilities at the direction of the Head Coach –

 

Athletic coaching positions are a one-year appointment.  All positions will be posted every year.

Evaluated by:    Principal/Athletic Director 

 

Terms of Employment/Salary/Work Year:

As negotiated by the Fitchburg School Committee and the Fitchburg Education Association (FEA).

 

An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of NCBC (fingerprinting) and CORI prior to your start of employment.
