Job Details:
Technology paraprofessionals will work with staff with the use of technology.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred;
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals;
- Knowledge of contemporary educational technology resources;
- Strong communication skills;
- Interest and aptitude in working with student and adult learners;

Ability to work effectively with all staff;

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Technology paraprofessional will:
- Provide technical support to staff in order to facilitate instructional use of technology;
- Support teacher's application of technology professional development;
- Support integration of technology in educational settings;
- Maintain and expand technology integration and instruction and support district-wide technology initiatives;
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the building Technology Director.

Evaluated by: Technology Director
Terms of Employment/Salary/Work Year:
185 days per year (includes 3 paid Professional Development days & 2 paid Holidays)
As negotiated by the Fitchburg School Committee and the Fitchburg Education Association (FEA).
